Adult Career Pathways FESTIVAL
August 6-8, 2019
Miami, Florida
Miami Hilton Downtown

Minds that Move Us is excited to announce our upcoming Adult Career Pathways Festival, hosted by the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL), in partnership with the Coalition for Adult Basic Education (COABE) and the National Association of State Directors of Adult Education (NASDAE).

Taking place in Miami, from August 6-8, the Adult Career Pathways Festival brings together prominent policymakers, funders, business leaders and adult career pathway innovators, all genuinely engaged to explore and create innovations that would help the 23.4 million working-age adults in this country who need additional support launching and advancing their careers.

Last year, Minds that Move Us selected ten elite teams from around the country to spend a year developing innovative education and training models that create social equity and economic mobility for adult learners. At the festival, the teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of expert judges and a live audience for a chance to win $100k!

The festival also includes engaging panel discussions and presentations by celebrated career pathways experts, and includes the opportunity to recognize Every Day Job Heroes who change lives by going out of their way to help adults in their communities to prepare for, find or keep jobs.  Support for the event comes from ECMC Foundation, Dollar General Literacy Foundation, and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
