Minds That Move Us: an Innovation Story

Minds That Move Us
Adult Career Pathways Festival
August 6-8, 2019

Taking place in Miami, from August 6-8, the Adult Career Pathways Festival Adult Career Pathways Festival brings together prominent policymakers, funders, business leaders and adult career pathway innovators, all genuinely engaged to explore and create innovations that would help the 23.4 million working-age adults in this country who need additional support launching and advancing their careers.

Last year, Minds that Move Us selected ten elite teams from around the country to spend a year developing innovative education and training models that create social equity and economic mobility for adult learners.

At the festival, the teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of expert judges and a live audience for a chance to win $100k! The festival also includes engaging panel discussions by career pathways experts with an optional pre-event Learning Journey to visit premier programs at Miami Dade College. Additionally, we’ll recognize Every Day Job Heroes who change lives by helping adults in their communities to prepare for, find or keep jobs. Support for the event comes from ECMC Foundation, Dollar General Literacy Foundation, and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
